1) Carlos' Grand Erection and all the planning that went into it.
We planned one 3 times the size of any previous and got a whole crew of engineers and helpers to work out how it was going to be done safely. And then... as usual the Hive's ability to bring strange and amazing characters together kicked in and we ended up with the most excruciatingly funny ceremonies I have ever seen. Including Jay in a menstrual cape and Gail dancing toward a giant phallus holding a ceremonial stuffed snake. Thank you Raga!

2) The time we had Entourage on the roof!
I met a German fire troop from Berlin at a circus festival and invited them to stay at the Hive for a few days... by way of thanks they gave us a spectacular fire display up on the roof high above the city... their flames lit up the sky for miles around!
3) Dancing in the mornings.
During the summer of 2016 the first floor had me, Frank, Nick, Tamara and Felicia managing it. Most mornings we would wake up and set about tidying and cleaning the place up ready for the day. Sometimes, if the right song came on the radio we would all just stop what we were doing and have a good old boogie joined by whoever walked in the room until the song finished... then we would just carry on as if nothing had happened...Gee - ReSpace Director
