There's been loads of events at the Hive that have benefited me. There have been times in my life when certain things have happened, and I'm like 'how do I experience more love, or open my heart?' and as I'm thinking that, the next day I walk past the Hive and literally a lady walked past me and says 'where's the Hive?' and I'm like, 'oh. It's that way' and I showed her (because I was right in front of the Hive) that's where it is. And instinct told me to follow her and go inside. So I went inside and as soon as I go inside the door, there's a heart meditation class and there's loads of people there of different cultures and different backgrounds, different ages coming together, cooperating, having a good time and also learning ways to open up and be more open with each other. And it benefited me a lot and it's something I needed at that point. The Hive has helped me and I've seen it help other people and develop lives. I've seen them give homeless people places to stay at night, stuff like that. I didn't even know it's been 3 years because it's gone so quick, but it's been a good project. How did you hear about it? I didn't hear about it! I literally walked past the Hive and I saw all the beautiful artwork and the creativity, all of that. I'm creative, so something naturally wanted me to go inside. The way it looked, as an an outside person, a member of the public, it made me want to see what was inside. So no, I didn't hear about it, I just saw it and I was like, 'oh, what's this?' and then when I went inside there were loads of posters of different events, things I haven't even heard of, that are so good for the community and for society, things about helping the environment, all of this stuff. I can't even name them, but loads of things. So what about you? What do you do? I'm a musician and an actor, I study drama as well at college, and I work part time. I'm just a creative person, I like sticking my hands into everything. I'm Mowgli. Mowgli from the jungle. And what made the Hive unique to you? Do you not see that creativity around much in London? No, honestly I don't. There's barely any creativity in London. The Hive is so unique. Because first of all, the appearance - the artwork is just so organic. It's so different, it's so abstract. The building in itself is a place you would want to see, just to experience it, despite the stuff that happens inside it.
